Children Take Brunt of State Cuts under NC Senate Budget Plan
The combined cut percentage to young children ages birth through five exceeds those borne by both the K-12 and higher education systems.
What does this mean for North Carolina?
Today’s children are our future leaders, parents and workers. Our state’s prosperity depends on their healthy development and growth. Yet, these cuts will do anything but.

As was stated ,our children are the future and we need all the support and fund to make that happen. I reliese we are in hard time but we can’t let our children suffer for what some one else did wrong or wight, our children instresr should be at the top of the list.
I am trying to find a free Purple Crying video or DVD to use as an educational tool in our Child Health Clinic waiting area (local health dept.) I need both an English and a Spanish version, if avail. Thanks!
